_⁣ Here’s today’s #shootinjapan from AOI Global at Arakura Sengen Shrine in Yamanashi Prefecture. ⁣ This beautiful shrine is a hotspot for tourists in Japan. Mt Fuji erupted once in 807 A.D. under the reign of the 51st Emperor Heijo. In August of the same year, an imperial envoy from the Imperial Court went to this shrine to conduct a fire extinguishing ceremony for the safety of the land.
